Birds and fish miss out....

Today my sweet Maisy said, "Screw the fish. I am still hungry."  She ate the bread I meant for the wilder animals but I have yet to tame my sweet pig's appetite.  Here she is, relaxing after a hearty breakfast and bread snacks on the dock.

Sammy does yoga poses

I love boxers because of their clown like nature, looks and poses.  Sam strikes some winners.  If only I were as flexible and unreserved in my yoga practice....

I think the expression tells the story, one of horrible abuse.  On dog laundry day, Sam always climbs on my uncovered couch and lays across the uncovered doggie bed, all sad that I do not have things made up for him.

He looks at me as if to say "What is taking so long. This bed is rough without the cover. Why must I suffer so?"

Shanti- supermodel and vegetarian

Today I bought a hot dog to share between the hairy beasts while out riding in their truck.  The boxers (2) eat fine (translation= everything), but Shanti would not take hers. She is both thin and a very picky eater. She tells me it is hard being a supermodel and a vegetarian but she manages. And then spits the hot dog out for the others to eat.  She gives me disdainful looks for even trying to make her eat. Hmmmppffff.

Just as my headphones played "You spin me right round, baby, right round"....Shanti got the idea to pull over to the side on our walk, and spin around until she pooped around.  All timed to the music. She looked up at me as if to say, "you really do spin me right round mama". Glad I could help.

Jennifer Aniston's Tattoo

Jennifer has it right. Instead of getting a tattoo of a loved one's name or picture, or even a provoking image that last forever but the sentiment may not- she made her first and only tattoo read "Norman". Nicely done, along the inside of her foot, following the arch.  Who is Norman you ask?  Norman was her dog, who recently passed away.  She could have put anything, got attention for any tattoo as a celebrity (and many famous men she has dated) and she chose to honor the best "man" in her life.  Norman.
