Which dog is blind?
The neighbors are outside (2 O'clock position) and three dogs are looking at them. One thinks he is....
Shanti the lab mix loves to be outside on the deck, when it is cooler "on watch". (However, she doesn't know how to get off the deck by herself - true story).
The boxers love to be inside, soaking up the sun through the glass and only pretend to care about trespassers (and they do not pretend very hard and fall asleep quickly as they warm themselves like bread in an oven).
Blind Buddy loves to be on guard and obviously has this "guard dog" job covered he thinks. He is the most alert of the four dogs Sad huh?

On a side note, I took the dogs for a walk at dusk and four deer ran beside us in the woods by the road. ONLY Buddy could "see" them or notice. The other three trotted right along within feet of the deer and never turned their way. Yep, Buddy is the best hope I have for protection.

Excuse me, but-
If this seating arrangement works for us, you shouldn't concern yourself with our business.- Buddy Love

Maisy Mom
Damn, they found me. One son is blocking my morning rays of sunshine. The other son is hogging my bed, and blowing me kisses out his backend. I didn't birth these babies, so not sure why they think I am their mom. I just want peace and quiet, to rest in my grey years. That is the last time I forget to shut the door. - Maisy Moo Mom

Have you seen my squeeky bone?
Sam and I have looked everywhere for it. I love to squeeze it so much, especially when you are on the phone working. I just cannot seem to find it and you know I can't see.- Buddy Love

Where is Maisy?
Hey kids. Where is Maisy?
"Don't know and don't care" - Shanti
"Huh. Are you talking to me?" -Sam
"I thought you WERE Maisy driving. I can't see but you smell like her." - Buddy
"I jumped into the back seat and she is not in the truck bed." -Sam
(I came back here because I have gas)
"I don't see her outside running along side us mom. I am just trying to enjoy a little ME time."- Shanti
"Dang, you fooled me again. That is not YOU Maisy, driving the truck?" - Buddy
"I am here momma, in the corner of the back seat. See me? It got too crowded up front"- Maisy
(Pssst, can you sneak me a fry?)

Not friends just yet, but trying hard.
Mom, what IS that on my couch? A small black and white boxer?- Sam
This is close as I am getting, not sure I want to be friends yet with "Buddy". He is not my Buddy. -Sam
Ok. We are sitting together now. Is this close enough. Do I have to play with him?- Sam
Smell my butt if you like me.- Buddy

Rounding error
Those of you in business are familiar with this term. Today I was out picking up poop in the yard. I am used to large dogs, large piles. As I am almost done walking the yard, I realize I haven't found any "Buddy" poop (small Boston Terrier). Then it dawns on me that with an acre yard, big dogs, and plenty of trees/natural area- Buddy's poo is simply a rounding error....too small to matter.
I kinda feel like it is the same thing with the number of dogs. If you have 4 big dogs, what is one more small one? Who notices? And scary, but I have left one behind on more than one occasion! I would not be a good bus driver, counting to make sure all the children are present. Bus seems full, let's go!
This is Sam. Looking to turn my grass yellow, or brown. Just depends. You can trip on Sam's poops and hurt yourself.

This is Super Buddy! He secretly LOVES his new cape.

Who US? We promise to be good this winter...
Here we are, on the lookout for trouble. Not seeing any just yet but I hear another rescue dog is coming- we can teach it "our way". -Maisy, Sam and Shanti
"Anyway, we promise to be good for 2012, scout's honor". -Maisy (leaving the discussion)
"Who is Scout"?- Samson
"I think he had to be put down". -Shanti

My Revised Christmas List- Sam
Dear Mom:
Perhaps you missed my Christmas list. I want a black motorcycle. You can pay everything, drive, and keep it clean. I just want to look good with my "bitch" driving me around.

I already climbed in and it is a great fit. I just want my handsome face flapping in the breeze of the open road.
Picture me on the bike versus my head just poking out of some window....
This is me all jammed up in the front seat of the truck. AWFUL.
This is me all boxed up in the back of the truck. I can barely see out and no fresh air. Call the authorities.

Dang. It is like she can read my mind....
Mom is using the night vision goggles again to catch me in the kitchen eating holiday leftovers. A boy gets hungry you know. -Sam

Lifting with the Pom Pom twins....
Sampson, I am glad you are up here working out with us, as you have gained weight. It makes me not want to have sex with you. - Your dog wife Sydney.
