PeeDee was a wondering dog in my neighborhood. He has been with a loving elderly couple for a year but needs another home with kids and/or dogs. PeeDee needs a new home

PeeDee is a small male mixed breed dog.  He was a lost dog found on my street. We found him a home and he cleaned up well. They love him very much but they are an older couple. PeeDee needs a home with kids or other dogs.  When he goes on visits to houses with kids and/or other dogs, he is sad when he comes back home. Puzzling question....

I have never been sure why we BUY dogs/cats and even children (high priced adoptions) when there are so many more in need that are basically free/nominal charge.  If the goal is about love, and giving love to a new life that has come into yours......then let it be about helping a living being.

Let's spread the word about how many dogs/cats are in rescues, shelters, and foster homes. And how many kids are in orphanages, group homes, and foster care.
